For more than five years, The Festival of Natural Fibres has provided a series of engaging panel discussions, film screenings, presentations and workshops alongside an exhibition and stalls promoting the value and qualities of natural fibres.

The Festival of Natural Fibres provides a welcoming environment where visitors can learn about the fibre and seed collaborations used today. Attendees can discover the qualities and strengths of hemp, nettle, flax, wool and cotton and the exciting potential that they can offer. Also, sample first-hand traditional crafting processes and techniques by attending the featured workshops held during the two-day event. Alongside presentations from the community of farmers, researchers, designers, makers, activists and entrepreneurs who support this vibrant and ever-growing field (pun intended).

The Festival of Natural Fibres will take place at Craft Central, The Forge, 397–411 Westferry Road, London E14 3AE. Tickets are available today and can be booked by clicking the link below or visiting the KhadiLondon website.

To find out further details about the event, held this year on 8–9 October 2022, can also be found on the Khadi London website alongside links to past events to give a flavour of what to expect.
