On 22 May 2025 Gandhi Foundation Annual Lecture 2025 was delivered by Professor Krishna Kumar at an event held at Kingsley Hall, Powis Road, Bromley by Bow, London, E3 3HJ

Professor Kumar is an eminent Indian academic, noted for his writings on the sociology and history of education and former Director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training.

For the lecture, Professor Kumar discussed what Gandhi thought about learning and the symbols of ‘progress’.
