Gandhi Foundation Multi-Faith Celebration 2018

The Gandhi Foundation and the Bhavan Indian cultural centre present:
A Multi Faith Concert: Featuring performances and exhibitions by artists inspired by faith and interfaith harmony
Saturday 3 February 2018, 6-8pm
At the Bhavan Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, 4a Castletown Road, West Kensington,

London, W14 9HE.

Among the artists performing will be:

  • Syrian musician, Bassel Saleh (search ‘Bassel Saleh’ on Facebook)
  • Mike Parsons from Eastbeat @ Kingsley Hall (@Eastbeat1)
  • Classical Indian dancer, Janaki Mehta (see her perform at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mSPQHJsmSqM)
  • Laura Topper, spiritual songwriter/singer and speaker (lauratopper.com, @laura_topper)
  • Sue Gilmurray, from Anglican Pacifist Fellowship and Musicians for Peace and Disarmament (anglicanpeacemaker.org.uk)
  • Musician and singer, Julia Katarina who will perform Palestinian songs and Qawaali (https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCyhoXyTSI30ypvZQL-LqavQ)
  • Saara Hasan, who will perform songs from the Sufi tradition
  • Members of ‘Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur’ performing some of Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite songs
This event is free to attend but a suggested donation of £5-10, collected on the door on the night of the event, would be most welcome.
